Would it be wise to RGB Mod this? I have a buddy that used to repair old CRT's so he might be able to help. This TV also has a User Manual and Service Manual online so that should help. The service manual is also very detailed and provides exact instructions on how to open and discharge the CRT properly. It also has a lot of IC information. This mod has also been done online before 2 or 3 times with success.

I think it has 450 TVL.

From the images i estimated it would look almost like a 500-600 line PVM with this mod.

Please correct me if i'm wrong.

This is the same TV with S-video: https://imgur.com/a/EMpQD

Also there is a 35S42 in my area. Would it be the same thing to modify it just with a bigger CRT?
