    Yes it's my site, I uploaded the last 2 seasons there and will be uploading season 3 also
    It does indeed start on the 3rd of February, not long to go now and it looks like Boblian might be back in some capacity, if you take a look at the most recent preview they are both in it talking about a 'surprise' - people are assuming one or both of them will be training a secret team!

    I found watching BL better then watching BB for the last two years down here. I think the Aussie BL format would work in the UK.
    With BB, Kyle and Jackie are the most popular Sydney radio show in Sydney and also airs in Brisbane/Gold Coast. They have a segment on the show from time to time called scare Geoff to death where the news reader has to read the news while doing some task that Kyle and Jackie have given him. He once read the news from a ledge on top of Sydney tower, in the nude from a cherry picker on a very crowded highway and they once dropped him in the Desert outside of Alice Springs where he was given a car and a tank of petrol, had no money and had a week to get home, he did his news in different pubs and clubs on the way entertaining locals and was given money if the radio audience liked it. Very funny and they will have a lot of control in BB8 and are both selectors as well as the producers which is different this year. 3 of the HM's are being picked by the general public. And Kyle has said uncut will be back and has defended it on the radio show.

    Mike Goldman is back definately and yes uplate in its present format is axed . Mike will host FNL and he will be the narrator but I expect there will be a new spin off show. Uncut is also said to return. Live streaming this year will be on a HD channel as well as the website.

    Thank you for that clip! Your website is fantastic, I love it. It's my ideal website, you even have the UK mole! I loved the US mole and never got to see the UK version. Hmmm at Bob and Gillian in the clip. I think they were filming US TBL 5 when Aus TBL 3 was being filmed (not too sure) but I would love them to be in the show in some way or another. I've just watched the latest US TBL 5 episode. I'm loving the couples format this season and it's been full of twists and turns and drama. I heard a rumour that someone from the Aus BL lashed out and hit someone. I'm taking it with a pinch of salt but you never know, I find the Aussies to be very open and say exactly what they think/feel, the reason their reality shows are compelling and full of drama.
    Sorry people for being OT. Maybe we should post a thread in Reality tv forum when Aus TBL starts? I think a lot of people would appreciate the game play/planning and scheming.

    Yeah they went from filming the 4th USA season, right to filming the 5th so I can't work out how they'd have found time to do the Aus show also - think them being on the advert is just a red herring. Though with 30 contestants this year, there has to be a secret team...I think they will use the same twist as US season 4, but use the Commando again as the trainer. I hadn't heard the rumour about someone lashing out, it wouldn't surprise me though...some times even I want to give Bob, Jillian, Michelle and Shannon a wee slap hehe
    I think I started a TBL thread last year but it died on it's bottom, seemed there was only about 3 people watching it - that's why I am trying to convince people to give it a go really!
    There's no official start date for Big Brother (as far as I know) but it usually begins on the same day, or the day after TBL ends...so it's a good 3 - 4 months away yet.

    Of course I'm looking forward to it. I don't personally see how last years was so boring. I found it entertaining and my favourite actually won it.
    I started watching at BB5 and that was a brilliant series. This years sounds better, because although I have enjoyed BBAU, the last three have seemed a bit samey to me. A change should be good. Plus the return of Uncut will make this an interesting series.

    They were all great and so was TJ. I also really liked Kate and Michelle. Aleisha was my favourite winner of BB in a long time and I was glad my fave could win at least once, as all the other winners of reality shows that year were poo (except for Shilpa).

    yeah, but atleast we know its the same down-under that the most entertaining hms get voted out first! (Bodie, Emma, Michelle was in there for like two weeks) and what were we left with Travis...Hoo-Roo Maiiite (that's all i remember from him...) and did you feedo' the chicko's ? what's for dinno?? and what was his name...BILLY...yeah also a snoozefest and he didn't even audition!!

    I was heartbroken the week Bodie and TJ were evicted last year, but I was distraught after Emma left. How sad lol

    The housemates I liked last year were Bodie, Aliesha, Emma, Jamie and even Michelle spiced up the show a bit.
    The thing that was strange to me was that Michelle and Zach were exempt from nominations 2 weeks in a row. I know they were intruders and would be free from nominations during the first week but the second looked to be really odd as they had been in the house for 8 days. I wonder if it was a stunt? Laura and Danielle, 2 other intruders were exempt for 1 week.

    The thing that was strange to me was that Michelle and Zach were exempt from nominations 2 weeks in a row. I know they were intruders and would be free from nominations during the first week but the second looked to be really odd as they had been in the house for 8 days. I wonder if it was a stunt?     I think they did that because the other intruders entered on a Wednesday rather than a Sunday, the day before noms, so basically got three weeks in the house anyway. Michelle and Zach, who entered only a day before noms would only get two weeks in there.
    That or the producers did it because they thought that Zach was going to be one of the boys nominated, so just gave him (and Michelle who was immune anyway) another week as intruders.

    Are launch shows always recorded and not shown till the next day? During the 8 years the show has run, Has the launch night ever been shown live. Even if it was launched on the Sunday. It still has to be shown the next day even so Sunday has the schedule of the live evitcion show.

    I think only BB1 and BB3 had live launches. I think BB1's live attempt was a bit of a shambles so they pre-recorded the next year's, thought they'd have a go again with BB3, but that also went tits-up, so it's been pre-recorded ever since (Saturday to air Sunday.)

    A suggestion for opening night this year.
    Should they let Gretel host it as she should get a proper sign-off while Kyle and Jackie O does the eviction shows and the final. I see Mike is going to be doing the nominations show.

    I love Gretel heaps, but, let's face it, she either jumped or was pushed, doubt it was by mutual consent, so one party wouldn't be up for the idea of her hosting. She's gone for a reason. Plus it kind of sidelines Kyle and Jackie O, which I doubt they'd be happy about.
    As for the nomination show, I read it might have been axed altogether.

    The launch shows are always pre-recorded on saturday to be shown sunday night. BB3 it rained and when it rains in Aus I really mean it rains, making a live launch impossible. Although we have had 3 years of not much rain the launch is still pre-recorded. Today the whole arena where the launch and the eviction shows happen is totally under cover.

    Can't wait, as always. For me BB3 has never been bettered, classic from start to finish and definitely worth watching now if you can find it. I also enjoyed Ryan and Bree's year which might have been BB4?
    Anyway, anyone have a start date for this years BB?

    Not sure if in going to enjoy it with the changes and all that but im really bored with the awful season of bbusa so this is going to make a welcome change.
